We were pleased and honored to host internationally-renowned artist Sunho Choi.

Educated in Seoul and New York , Sunho Choi layers his work with many contrasting features that ingeniously forge a harmony between East and West, unifying the beauty of both worlds . He uses traditional forms and colors from the Chosun Dynasty and juxtaposes them with contemporary, minimalist influences.  His remarkably fresh, crisp paintings have a depth of tone and texture and exude the feel of ancient, beautifully worn artifacts. Sunho Choi’s work reflects vitality and complexity. And as his paintings strike us as brilliantly novel, they also resonate with a wondrously strange familiarity, as if from dream or memory.
